Broomfield's Universal Preschool (UPK)

Starting August 2023, Universal Preschool is 10-15 hours of preschool education children 4 years of age, tuition free, in a variety of licensed settings that offer preschool, including family home child care, preschools, child care centers.

Register your child for the 2023-2024 school year! Fill out the application, select your top five preferred schools. You will be alerted of your match by February 15. Please email Sue Enright for more information, sue@broomfieldecc.org

Apply for your spot on the Colorado portal
On the portal, select your preferred provider who offers Universal Preschool
You CAN have full time care as well, the tuition of 15 hours per week will be deducted from your tuition bill.
You may qualify for up to 30 hours of preschool instruction/care. Click here to find out how.

Qualifying factors for 3 and 4 year olds

If your family and /or child have these qualifying factors, you may be eligible for up to 30 hours of preschool and child care:
Household Income
Individualized Education Plan
Housing status
Dual Language Learner
Foster/Kinship care
